Another Year, Another Adventure

The lure of the open road proves impossible to resist. It's time to ride.

Destination: Nova Scotia.

On July 2, 2008, Jim Spears and Bo Johnson depart Nashville and head north to Manchester, New Hampshire where they will join up with Bill Thompson. Bill is flying from Nashville to Manchester, where he has a rental bike awaiting him.

The route will take us through eight states and three provinces.

The Bikes

Bo rides a 2006 BMW R1200RT, a touring bike equipped with hard bags, heated grips, adjustable suspension, GPS, satellite radio and two-way radio communications.



Jim rides a 2008 BMW R1200GS Adventure, a dual-sport bike equipped with hard bags, adjustable suspension, GPS, heated grips and two-way radio communications.




Bill will ride a rented 2008 Honda ST1300, a touring bike equipped with hard bags, GPS, power everything and two-way radio communications.
